Mubiru Enock Joel is a mathematics graduate from Makerere University, Uganda, with
experience as an operations and data analyst and a strong inclination toward quantitativeand analytical thinking. He is a self-directed and curious thinker who approaches complexproblems with persistence and discipline. His research interests focus on applyingrigorous, data-driven, and interdisciplinary methods to real-world challenges, particularly in development economics and improving financial inclusion in low-income countries, where access to evidence-based policy remains limited. He is especially interested in how quantitative tools can be used to understand economic behaviour and inform inclusive financial systems. Joel aspires to pursue advanced graduate study, including a PhD,and to build an academic research career focused on rigorous, socially relevant impact-driven research.
