Self-Nomination Process for Junior Faculty
For those who are not already eligible to apply for funding and would like to be considered for eligibility, the Weiss Fund now has a self-nomination process. Please submit the required documentation to be considered, and a committee will review your application. You will receive an email notification of the outcome of your nomination.
We review self-nomination applications prior to every full call for applications, i.e. before every Fall and Spring call for proposals. Please submit your self-nomination application at least a month before the deadline for those calls to ensure that it is reviewed in time
Requirements
- Eligible candidates must have a PhD in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Resource Economics, or Public Policy.
- Eligibility will be limited to those within 8 years of receiving their PhD.
- Applicants will submit a CV and, in some cases, a letter of recommendation.
- Postdoctoral fellows are only eligible if they have already obtained a ladder faculty position.
